We are proud to announce that Rika Danjo, a Ph.D. student of RARiS, was awarded second place in the poster session at DREB2024 (Direct Reactions with Exotic Beams) held in Wiesbaden, Germany, from June 24 to 28, 2024.
Her pioneering research focuses on studying the neutron distribution in 208Pb through low-energy electron scattering, utilizing the latest nuclear structure theory and the world’s unique low-energy electron scattering setup at RARiS. This work has the potential to challenge conventional perspectives in nuclear structure studies and pave the way for a completely new research field.
