The Research Center for Advanced Quantum Beam Science (RARiS) at Tohoku University is a collaborative research and education facility that provides multipurpose use of the cyclotron, use of high-level RIs and cyclotron-generated short-lived RIs that are difficult to handle in each department, and education and training for safe handling of RIs.
